Hi guys so this week was super interesting to go through. I looked at the places that were high risk to have a tornado or hurricane from 1990 to 2010.
This map shares the destruction of tornadoes through injuries in the 1990s. I think that this is not completely accurate because there definitely would be tornadoes in the southeast during hurricane season. Those may however, count them as hurricane injuries/fatalities. However the tornadoes in the midwest are accurate.
This map is similar to the one before, but is placed with the population in 2010. There are not very many changes between the two maps.
This map is similar, but is focused on the population in the 2010s. There is not much difference over time.
Overall this was an interesting process, I think I have some work to do with geoprocessing and spatial joins.
