Hi my name is Tiana Galloway. I am a second-year PhD student in history, getting my master's in Public History. I am from Raleigh, NC. My interests lies in African American sports history. I am especially interested in sports today, I love watching various sports and attending USC sports events. My favorite teams are USC women's basketball, Duke men's basketball, University of Oklahoma football, and San Francisco 49ers. I am taking this course to fulfill my language requirement, however I am super interested in GIS. Over the summer I used Arcgis to tell the story of barber and beauty shops in Columbia in the mid twentieth century, which I may or may not expand upon for my project this semester.
